SKATE CANADA MEMBERSHIP FEE
All skaters are required to purchase a non-refundable Skate Canada Membership at a cost of $63.70 in addition to the program fees. This fee covers insurance, membership with the National Body, Safe Sport initiatives and more. This is an annual fee that covers skaters from September 1st to August 31 of the following year.
CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds or cancellations given for any reason other than illness or injury with a valid Doctor’s Certificate. All cancellations requested past the withdrawal deadline are subject to a $20 Withdrawal Fee plus outstanding program fees owing on the pro-rated portion up to and including the month of notice to withdraw. Please note that the Skate Canada Membership fee is non-refundable.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
All participants must be registered online at least 24 hours in advance of their first session. A $10 Administration Fee will apply to any changes in class registrations.
CanSkate
For beginner skaters ages 3+ to learn the basics of ice skating in fun, dynamic group lessons.

PowerSkate
For hockey and ringette skaters ages 5+ to develop speed, power, and agility through progressive drills and conditioning.

Group StarSkate
Figure skating lessons taught in group format, typically for Star 1-4 skaters. Coaching is included in these classes and includes instruction in all disciplines of figure skating.

- Wednesdays Star 4+ Group Elements from 6:30-7:00pm @ CFC ($80 for 14 classes)

- Thursdays 4:00-4:45pm @ CFC ($213 for 16 classes)
- Fridays 2:50-4:30pm @ Nicholas Sheran (off-ice from 2:50-3:15pm, on-ice from 3:30-4:30pm) ($285 for 14 classes)
- Saturdays 1:00-2:40pm @ Civic (on-ice from 1:00-2:15pm (with combined stroking from 1-1:15pm, off-ice from 2:20-2:40pm) ($145 for 8 classes)
Private Lesson StarSkate
Ice time for figure skaters to independently practice and take private lessons. Coaching is not included in these classes – private lessons must be booked separately with one of our professional coaches.

SynchroSkate
Team figure skating with a focus on skating as a unit. This program includes engaging synchro training sessions, team-building, and several performance opportunities.

Teen/AdultSkate
Ice time for anyone over 14 years looking to learn the basics or practice their skills. Classes include instruction, but also provide time for independent practice.
- Tuesdays from 8:15-9:00pm @ CFC ($230 for 16 classes)
- Saturdays from 9:00-10:00am @ CFC ($150 for 8 classes)
Off-Ice Training
Physical exercises & movements for StarSkaters to help support function on ice. Areas of training include flexibility, strength, endurance, jump drills, mental training, competition prep, and more.
- Mondays Star 1-Gold from 6:30-7:15pm @ YMCA (open to StarSkate or AdultSkate participants) ($255 for 13 sessions)
